FJWU Merit & Aggregate Calculator (Fatima Jinnah Women University)

Use this free FJWU merit and aggregate calculator to calculate your admission merit at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. It uses FJWU’s official 70% FA/FSc + 30% entry test weightage for engineering and LLB, and reflects the Fall 2026 change that removed the test for other bachelor’s programmes.

Quick answer

FJWU’s Admission Criteria set undergraduate merit as 70% FA/FSc + 30% entry test: NAT-I or the HEC test, or LAT for LLB. For Fall 2026, FJWU requires a test only for its engineering departments (Software and Electronic Engineering; NAT-I, UET, NUST, ETEA or HEC USAT, minimum 33%). Other bachelor’s programmes need no test, so your Intermediate marks decide your merit.

The 70/30 weightage comes from FJWU’s “Admission Criteria and Selection Procedure”. That page also lists NAT-I as the test for every undergraduate programme. FJWU’s Fall 2026 advertisement (3 July 2026) narrowed this: “The test is not required for other programs/departments of Bachelor’s Programs.” It gave no new weights, so for those programmes your Intermediate result is what matters.

  • Scoring under the test minimum. Engineering needs at least 33% in the test; LLB needs 50 in LAT.
  • Treating the estimate as final. Only FJWU’s merit lists are official.

Frequently asked questions

What is the FJWU merit formula?

70% FA/FSc + 30% entry test, according to FJWU’s Admission Criteria. In Fall 2026 the test is required only for engineering (and LAT for LLB), so other programmes depend on Intermediate marks.

Is there an entry test for FJWU?

For Fall 2026, only for the engineering departments (NAT-I, UET, NUST, ETEA or HEC USAT, minimum 33%) and LAT for LLB. Other bachelor’s programmes need no test.

How is the FJWU aggregate calculated for engineering?

FA/FSc % × 0.70 + test % × 0.30. For example, 900/1100 and 60/100 give 75.27%.

What is the minimum percentage for FJWU?

60% (1st division) for Software and Electronic Engineering and BCS; 2nd division for all other programmes.

Does FJWU have quota seats?

Only small quotas: 2% each for disabled/special persons and minorities, and 1% for FJWU employees’ children.

Can I apply to FJWU with Part-I marks?

Yes, if you have appeared in Part-II. Admission is provisional on Part-I marks and confirmed when your full result meets the minimum.

Is this the official FJWU merit?

No. This is an independent calculator built from FJWU’s own admission criteria and Fall 2026 advertisement. FJWU publishes the official merit lists.
