Absolute vs Relative Grading at CECOS
CECOS uses absolute grading with pre-defined percentage cutoffs. Your grade is based on your individual exam and coursework performance — not relative to classmates. This is the HEC-mandated standard and ensures consistent grading across semesters. Strong performance by an entire class does not reduce anyone's grade.
