KFUEIT Merit & Aggregate Calculator (Khwaja Fareed University)

Use this free KFUEIT merit and aggregate calculator to calculate your merit score with the formulas on Khwaja Fareed University’s own Merit Determination page. Engineering and technology programmes use 17% Matric + 50% first-year Intermediate + 33% entry test; all other undergraduate programmes use 25% + 45% + 30%.

Quick answer

KFUEIT’s Merit Determination page sets two undergraduate formulas. Engineering & Technology = 0.50 × first-year HSSC % + 0.17 × SSC % + 0.33 × test %. Non-engineering = 0.45 × first-year HSSC % + 0.25 × SSC % + 0.30 × aptitude test %. Engineering accepts ECAT, NED/MUET, NUST, NTS, ETEA or KFUEIT’s own KFEAT. Other programmes accept KFAT, NAT, KFEAT, ECAT or MDCAT.

KFUEIT uses first-year (Part-I) Intermediate marks, so the total is set to 550. Enter your test score against its own total (ECAT is out of 400).

What Entry test score do you need?

Set your target merit and we work backwards from your Matric and FSc marks to the Entry test score you need. The grid shows your merit at every score from 50% to 100% of the paper.

Non-engineering (CS, SE, AI, Data Science, IT, BBA, DPT, MLT, Sciences, English, Education and others)45%25%30%KFAT, NAT, KFEAT, ECAT, MDCAT

Both formulas come from KFUEIT’s Merit Determination page. They use your first-year (Part-I) Intermediate percentage. An older KFUEIT Rules & Regulations page still shows a 70% F.Sc + 30% test split. The Merit Determination page is the one KFUEIT links from its admissions menu, so this calculator uses it.

KFUEIT Eligibility Criteria

ProgrammesMinimum
BS Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical and other engineering60% in HSSC Pre-Engg / Pre-Med / ICS (Maths, Physics, Computer) or relevant DAE + an accepted engineering entry test (no passing threshold)
BBA, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Public Administration, Healthcare Management45% in HSSC or DAE + KFAT / NAT / KFEAT / ECAT / MDCAT
Biological sciences, Chemistry, Physics and most other BS45–50% in HSSC with the relevant subjects + an accepted aptitude test
Computing (CS, IT and related)50% with Mathematics (Pre-Medical students take deficiency Mathematics)

KFUEIT has campuses in Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur. DAE holders applying for engineering can only use the DAE quota (2% of seats, as PEC requires).

For non-engineering programmes, Matric counts for 25%, more than at most universities.

Common KFUEIT Merit Mistakes

  • Using full Intermediate marks out of 1100. KFUEIT uses first-year marks (out of 550).
  • Using the engineering formula for CS or BBA. Non-engineering programmes use 25-45-30.
  • Entering ECAT out of 100. ECAT is out of 400; set the correct total.
  • Treating the estimate as final. Only KFUEIT’s merit lists are official.

Frequently asked questions

What is the KFUEIT merit formula?

Engineering & Technology: 0.50 × first-year HSSC % + 0.17 × Matric % + 0.33 × test %. Non-engineering: 0.45 × first-year HSSC % + 0.25 × Matric % + 0.30 × aptitude test %.

Which test does KFUEIT accept for engineering?

UET ECAT, NED/MUET, NUST, NTS, ETEA or KFUEIT’s own Engineering Entry Test (KFEAT). There is no passing threshold.

What is KFAT?

KFAT is KFUEIT’s own aptitude test for non-engineering programmes. NAT, KFEAT, ECAT and MDCAT scores are also accepted, depending on the programme.

Does KFUEIT use Part-I or full FSc marks?

Its Merit Determination formulas use first-year (Part-I) HSSC marks.

How is the KFUEIT aggregate calculated?

For engineering, 950/1100 in Matric, 480/550 in Part-I and 60/100 in the test give 78.12%.

What is the minimum percentage for KFUEIT engineering?

60% in HSSC (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical or ICS with Maths, Physics and Computer) or a relevant DAE.

Is this the official KFUEIT merit?

No. This is an independent calculator built from KFUEIT’s own pages. KFUEIT publishes the official merit lists.

How this page was checked. The formulas come from KFUEIT’s Merit Determination page. Eligibility and accepted tests come from its Eligibility Criteria page (updated April 2026), and quotas from its Reserved Seats page. All were read on 29 September 2026. An older, undated KFUEIT Rules & Regulations page still shows a 70% F.Sc + 30% test split; this page follows the Merit Determination page. The other calculator page checked uses the same two formulas. This site is independent and is not affiliated with KFUEIT.
