UO does not publish a separate merit-formula document, but its merit lists show the calculation. For example, on the BS Physics list a student with 912/1100 in Matric and 958/1100 in Intermediate has 24.87 + 60.96 = 85.836. The same applicant appears with an identical merit (87.88) on both the 2026 BSCS and DPT lists, which shows the BS formula is the same across programmes.

For Fall 2026, applications were made online at uoadmissions.uo.edu.pk until 30 June 2026. The processing fee was Rs. 500 for the first programme and Rs. 100 for each extra programme. Merit lists go on UO’s website, and selected candidates verify their documents at the department before the fee voucher is issued.
Common University of Okara Merit Mistakes
- Using 30-70 for LL.B. LL.B uses a quarter-Matric academic record (70%) plus the LAT (30%).
- Expecting an entry test for BS. UO’s BS merit is academic only.
- Comparing with the wrong shift. Morning and Self-Support close at different merits.
- Paying more than one voucher. If you are selected in several programmes, pay only the one you want.
