SSUET Merit & Aggregate Calculator (Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology)

Use this free SSUET merit and aggregate calculator to calculate your admission merit at Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology. SSUET’s Admission Policy uses 5% SSC + 50% HSC Part-I + 45% SSUET aptitude test. For Fall 2026 you can also use a 2026 USAT, NED, MUET, NTS, ETEA, MDCAT or DUET score in place of SSUET’s own test.

Quick answer

SSUET’s UG Admission Policy (section 3.10) sets merit as 50% HSC-I + 5% SSC + 45% SSUET Admission Aptitude Test for every undergraduate programme. Architecture and Interior Design use the same weights, plus a drawing test and interview you must pass. Only candidates who clear the test threshold enter the merit list. A 2026 score from USAT, NED, MUET, NTS, ETEA, MDCAT, DUET or another public university test can replace SSUET’s test.

SSUET uses HSC Part-I marks. Enter your aptitude test score out of 100, or your exempting test score against its own total.

What SSUET aptitude test score do you need?

Set your target merit and we work backwards from your Matric and FSc marks to the SSUET aptitude test score you need. The grid shows your merit at every score from 50% to 100% of the paper.

SSUET Merit Formula: 5% SSC + 50% HSC-I + 45% Test

ComponentWeightWhat SSUET uses
HSC Part-I50%HSC-I marks, or O-Level / equivalent marks issued by IBCC
SSUET Admission Aptitude Test45%100 questions in 60 minutes by study group, or an accepted exempting test
SSC5%SSC, or O-Level / equivalent marks issued by IBCC

Ties are broken by the aptitude test total, then the core section (Physics, Biology, Computer Science or Business), then English. For Hafiz-e-Quran, section 3.9 of the policy promises 20 extra marks in HSC-I, but section 3.10 adds 10 marks, so confirm the figure with SSUET’s admissions office.

SSUET Entry Test Exemption (Fall 2026)

For Fall 2026, SSUET exempts you from its own test if you passed a 2026 USAT, NEDUET, MUET, NTS, ETEA, MDCAT, DUET or any other public-sector university test. Upload the scorecard in the “Other Test” section of your portal. Your test score still counts towards merit, and the processing fee is still payable.

Round 3 for Fall 2026 (limited programmes and seats; CS, SE, AI and Data Science on self-finance only) has on-campus walk-in tests on 15, 22 and 27 October 2026, 9:00 to 10:30 am.

Pre-Medical students can apply for engineering after an 8-week condensed maths programme, and General Science students take a remedial Chemistry course. Common SSUET Merit Mistakes

  • Giving SSC too much weight. SSC counts for only 5%, while HSC-I counts for 50%.
  • Using full HSC marks. SSUET’s formula uses HSC Part-I.
  • Re-sitting the test needlessly. A 2026 USAT, NED, NTS or similar score can exempt you.
  • Skipping the drawing test. Architecture and Interior Design also need the drawing test and interview.
