Both versions are printed on page 23 of SALU’s Prospectus 2026. USET helps only if your USET percentage is higher than your SALU test percentage, because it replaces 40% of the test share.

- Sindh candidates who passed HSC-II from 2022 to 2025 can apply. Candidates from other provinces apply only on reserved seats.
- If you passed from a board other than BISE Sukkur or Larkana, you need a SALU eligibility certificate.
- BA-LLB applicants must also have passed HEC’s Law Admission Test (LAT).
- BS Part-III (5th semester) needs a 2-year Bachelor’s / ADE passed in 2020 or later with 50% marks.

Every department reserves 2 seats for sports, 1 for disabled candidates, 1 each for children of SALU employees and teachers, and 2 for children of Pak Army personnel. There are also seats for other provinces (KPK 1, GB 2, Punjab 2, Balochistan 3, AJK 1), 5 for foreign students and 2 for overseas Pakistanis.

Common SALU Merit Mistakes
- Using 10 / 40 / 50. Some calculators use this split, but SALU’s prospectus says 10 / 30 / 60.
- Adding USET on top of 100. USET replaces part of the test share (36% + 24%). It is not extra marks.
- Forgetting the LAT for law. Without a passed HEC LAT you aren’t considered for BA-LLB.
- Missing a merit round. SALU issues up to four lists, and the fourth is for self-finance and quotas.
