Namal Merit & Aggregate Calculator (Namal University, Mianwali)

Use this free Namal aggregate calculator to calculate your admission merit at Namal University. Namal’s Admission Criteria use 50% Intermediate + 50% entry test, with no Matric marks. You need at least 70% in Intermediate to be eligible, and students with 90% or more get a full tuition waiver.

Quick answer

Namal’s Admission Criteria set the aggregate as 50% Intermediate/equivalent + 50% entry test. Namal uses your first-year marks if your full result is not out yet. Matric is not counted. You need at least 70% in Intermediate, and the entry test can be NAT (NTS), HEC USAT or a PEC-accepted engineering test such as ECAT, NET, ETEA, NED or MUET, depending on the programme.

What Entry test score do you need?

Set your target merit and we work backwards from your Matric and FSc marks to the Entry test score you need. The grid shows your merit at every score from 50% to 100% of the paper.

Common Namal Merit Mistakes

  • Adding Matric marks. Namal’s aggregate uses only Intermediate and the entry test.
  • Applying with less than 70%. Namal needs 70% in Intermediate, and admission is cancelled if your full result falls below that.
  • Taking a test Namal does not accept for your programme. For example, USAT is not listed for BS Electrical Engineering.
  • Ignoring the Elite 90 scholarship. 90%+ in Intermediate means a full tuition waiver.
