UAJK Merit & Aggregate Calculator (University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir)

Use this UAJK merit and aggregate calculator to work out your merit at the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. UAJK uses a different formula for each group of programmes. Most BS programmes rank on your combined Matric and Intermediate marks, engineering uses 10/50/40, and DPT and Allied Health add a 30% entry test. Every formula here was checked against UAJK’s own Fall 2026 merit lists.

Quick answer

UAJK’s Fall 2026 merit lists use four formulas. Most BS programmes: your combined SSC + HSSC marks as a percentage (the entry test, where held, is pass/fail at 50%). B.Sc. Electrical and Software Engineering: SSC 10% + HSSC 50% + entry test 40%. B.Sc. Engineering Technology: HSSC 70% + entry test 30%. DPT, Allied Health and LLB: 70% of combined SSC + HSSC marks + 30% entry test.

  • Entry test fee: Rs 1,000, plus Rs 200 for each additional programme.
  • The entry test pass mark is 50%, and the maximum age for BS admission is 23 (prospectus 2022-23).

UAJK published three Fall 2026 merit lists: 15, 20 and 23 October 2026.

Common UAJK Merit Mistakes

  • Using 10/60/30 for every programme. Most UAJK BS programmes rank on combined academic marks, not an entry-test formula.
  • Averaging SSC and HSSC percentages. UAJK adds the marks first, so a 1200-mark HSSC weighs a little more than an 1100-mark SSC.
  • Adding SSC for Engineering Technology. The 2026 Software Engineering Technology list counts only HSSC (70%) and the test (30%).
  • Skipping the entry test. Even where it isn’t in the merit, you need 50% to qualify.
